Kris Spafford- Administrative assistant and resident Garden expert

How fortunate are we to have Kris, although truthfully sometimes we stress the heck out of her pushing the limit on perfection. Kris is one of the brightest people we know- she won't say so, though. An English Major from Syracuse University, Kris has quite a varied career path. Growing up with a Engineer Dad who had a long linage from Dartmouth College she knows what its like to work for a crazy, finicky, and intolerant detail fanatic,  working on and off for her dad has given her the tolerance to (to a degree) work with David. An avid gardener and perennial expert, Kris worked in Westchester at Nabel's nursery where she assisted and advised clients on many garden related subjects. She also designed client's gardens and went on to run her own perennial and annual business, where she was frequently referred by some high-end landscape firms from Long Island and Westchester. As seems to be the theme with our staff, family comes first, and so when she started a family she left work to give her kids all they needed. Here at ELITE, while Kris is about as diligent and timely as anyone can be, we know if it snows or someone is sick, Taylor and Brian come first, followed by our favorite guy Ralph. Kind of like the honeymooners- RALPH!!. As the lead assistant to David and Debbie, Kris is right in the throws of chaos and does just about everything to keep us all smiling.   She has a great sense of humor and an infectious personality that often under stress makes the world of difference. When you call, she is likely the cheerful voice on the other end.
